People have been urged to nominate their “transport champions” for an award.
Grampian Volunteer Transport Awards is looking for people who have gone above and beyond in their community to be honoured.
The ceremony, which first took place in 2014, will be held on November 9 at the Town House in Aberdeen.
Among the gongs up for grabs is one for Organisation of the Year, which will honour a group of volunteers who have supported their local community by offering a mode of transport.
Other categories include Volunteer Driver of the Year – for someone who has sacrificed their time to drive a member of their community – as well as the Volunteer Escort of the Year, which will be awarded to someone who has escorted a member of their community.
Nominations for the award are open and residents have until September 25 to put forward their nominee.
Forms can be collected from the Nestrans website, as well as by calling 01467 536111 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The honours are sponsored by travel companies First Bus and Stagecoach, with each winner being presented with a certificate, as well as a prize worth up to £200.
