Plans for improvements at a busy A90 junction are to go on display to the public.
Residents will be able to see the preferred option for changes to the Laurencekirk junction from July 20.
Members of the public will than have two months to view the plans and give their views.
Transport secretary Michael Matheson said: “Having put a number of options for the planned improvements at Laurencekirk on display last year and considered the feedback following the public exhibition, we are now able to let the public see and comment on the preferred option that has been identified for this much-needed upgrade.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to attend the exhibitions in July or August or view the material online and give us their views.
“All comments received will be considered as we look to publish draft Orders for the scheme next year.”
