Staff share laughter with people with learning disabilities at a north-east support service, inspectors have said.
The Care Inspectorate visited the Eden Road hub in Peterhead operated by Inspire (Partnership Through Life), on November 21, and have now published their report.
The service helps people with learning disabilities and inspectors rated it “very good” for care and support – the second best of six possible ratings.
“People generally experienced very good quality support that was right for them,” said the report.
It added: “People’s needs, as described in their support plan, were well met. People enjoyed their staff’s company, sharing laughter and gaining enjoyment while having their care needs met. Staff used positive language to communicate with those they were supporting.”
