Staff from a nursery are kind, caring and respectful towards children, inspectors said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited Banbury Cross Nursery, in Bridge of Don, on August 1 and have now published their report.
The nursery can look after up to 41 children under five.
Inspectors rated the nursery “very good” for care, support, management and leadership – the second best of six possible ratings.
“Children attending the nursery experienced warm and nurturing care from kind, caring and respectful staff team,” said the report.
It added: “They knew the children very well and as a result provided individualised care and support.
“All children experienced daily, safe, active and energetic play in the newly developed garden. Children benefitted from direct access to the outdoors using appropriate exits so as not to disrupt the youngest children.”
One parent told inspectors: “I feel my child is happy and safe at the nursery.
“She loves going there and the ladies that look after her.
“They have a great range of activities and she does something different every day.
“They also spend loads of time outside, which is amazing.”
