A north-east branch of the post office is set to close in the summer.
The shop inside the chemist on Burghmuir Drive in Inverurie will shut after July 31 after the resignation of the postmaster.
A spokesman for the Post Office said the group was looking to explore other options available in the town and was looking to reopen.
It is not known why the postmaster has resigned at the north-east branch.

The spokesman told the Evening Express: “Following the resignation of the postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use, Burghmuir Drive Post Office will temporarily close on July 31.
“We know how important Post Office services are to people in Inverurie and we would like to assure customers that we are currently investigating the options available which will enable us to provide Post Office services to the local community following the closure.”
