Residents of a North-east care home have rated it as being in the top 20 in Scotland.
Out of the 1,140 homes in Scotland, Deeside Care Home in Aberdeen reached the top 20 after receiving positive reviews from residents, their friends and relatives.
Director for care for Aberdeenshire Kirsten Jackson-Brown said: “Our extensive refurbishment programme has created a first-class setting for the delivery of care of the very highest standard and this is reflected in these awards.
“Central to the creation of the best possible home-from-home environment is a good team and we are fortunate to have exactly that at Deeside Care Home.
“These successes are a fitting acknowledgement of the hard work and commitment of all concerned.”
More than 45,000 reviews were received from residents over a 20-month period and the homes were rated on Overall Standard, Facilities, Care/Support, Cleanliness, Treated with Dignity, Food and Drink, Staff, Activities, Management, Safety/Security, Rooms and Value for Money.
