An Aberdeen cafe will be under new management from next month.
The popular Cafe Coast, which is currently run by learning disability charity Inspire, will be taken over officially on April 1.
It will become part of the GCK2L Ltd company, which currently owns the two Haar Rock Coffee shops in Cove.
The move will allow Inspire to focus more on delivering services to people with learning disabilities, according to its chief executive Linda Gray.
She said: “Haar Rock Coffee have a significant community presence in Aberdeen and have worked with various charities over the past two years including The AFC Community Trust and Friends of ANCHOR. As such we feel this is a great opportunity for both parties.”
All workers and volunteers within Cafe Coast will continue their jobs as normal.
Ms Gray added: “We were clear that anyone taking over the running of the cafe needed to be committed to continuing to support our volunteers and maintain our values and ethos.”
