An Aberdeen bar has reopened after a six-figure refurbishment.
The Northern Bar on Aberdeen’s George Street was closed for a number of days last week while improvements were carried out and reopened to customers on Friday.
The upgrades, which cost at least £100,000, included significant changes to furniture and decoration.
A spokesman for the Northern Bar said: “We’re delighted to reopen the bar after a major refurbishment.
“It looks absolutely fantastic and we can’t wait to welcome our guests back to see the improvements we’ve made.
“We’re a local bar in the heart of the city centre and we hope this six-figure investment signals our commitment to Aberdeen and its community.
“Thank you to all our customers for their patience while we’ve been briefly closed and we hope you’re now as thrilled as we are.”
Staff including manager Julie Marples and customers at the popular pub celebrated the reopening with live music on Friday night and karaoke on Saturday evening.
