An Aberdeen bar is to serve it’s final drinks on Hogmanay before closing down for a major refurbishment.

But fans of the Aberdeen nightspot need not be too concerned as it’s likely it will only take four to six weeks to give the popular bar a new look, with plans to reopen the venue in February.
A post on 10 Dollar Shake’s Facebook page states: “Don’t worry The Tippling House fans, we’ll only be closed for 4 – 6 weeks. Keep an eye on our social media channels for regular updates. Closing 1st January 2018, opening early February 2018.”
