A police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting two women in a North-east town.
Rikki Henderson, who is understood to have been suspended from duty, is also accused of having indecent images of children.
He is facing five charges in total.
His case called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday before Sheriff Graham Buchanan, although Henderson did not appear in person.
During the hearing no plea was entered on his behalf.
He is accused of two sexual assault charges as well as three charges relating to indecent images of children.
He is alleged to have attacked two women at an address in the North-east in November 2013.
The 24-year-old, whose address was given in court papers as Bridge Street, Strichen, is further accused of possessing, distributing and making indecent images of children.
It is alleged this took place between November 2016 and June last year. He is expected to appear in court later this month.
