Police to host internet safety chat for North-east parents

Parents in the North-east can join a web chat with police to find out how to keep children safe online.

During the chat, officers specialising in child protection will be providing help and advice to parents.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Are you thinking about buying a young person a mobile phone or computer but concerned how to keep them safe online?

“You can join our live Facebook chat from 7pm to 9pm on March 21.

“Officers will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.”
