Large amounts of alcohol were seized by police during a crackdown on antisocial behaviour in a north-east town.
Police on bicycles patrolled schools, the banks of the River Dee and other “antisocial behaviour hotspots” in Banchory last weekend and also seized drugs and vehicles.
A 36-year-old woman was charged with cannabis possession and will be reported to the procurator fiscal and a 38-year-old man was given a warning for cannabis possession.
Three people were charged for driving without insurance and police seized two vehicles.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with driving while using a mobile phone and will be reported to the procurator fiscal.
PC Dan Baird said: “Large quantities of alcohol were seized from teenagers. “It could have led to disastrous consequences.”
