Three cars stolen from properties in Aberdeen have been recovered by police.
A white Toyota Hi-Lux, taken from the Tillydrone area of the city earlier this week has been recovered.
A man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the theft.
Meanwhile, a VW Sharan and a Vauxhall Zafira, that were reported stolen from elsewhere in the city have also been recovered.
However, officers are still looking to trace a Ford B-Max, registration DA62 HHC, stolen from outside a property in the Foresters Terrace area of Ellon at some point between Saturday evening and Sunday morning is still missing.
Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who provided information in connection with these particular inquiries and to all those who shared our appeals online.
“A vast amount of work is done by police officers to recover stolen property when the worst should happen however, the public can play a crucial role in this by being an extra set of eyes and ears for us.”
She added: “This type of heartless and callous crime can have a significant financial and emotional impact on victims.
“In the vast majority of cases we are able to recover the vehicles reported stolen and identify those responsible however this doesn’t lessen the impact on the people affected.
“It is crucial we all take measures to ensure our properties, vehicles and valuables are always secure to not give potential thieves a chance.”
