A man’s body was found in a house in Aberdeen following a sudden death.
Emergency crews were called to the house on North Anderson Drive at around 12.30pm today.
Police are investigating the elderly man’s death, which is being treated as unexplained.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that officers were called to the sudden death of an elderly man in the North Anderson Drive area of Aberdeen today at around 12.30pm.
“Inquiries are at an early stage and the death is being treated as unexplained.
“As is standard a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
