Police name pensioner who died in Aberdeen crash

A woman who died in a crash on a road in Aberdeen has been named by police.

Margaret Davidson, 85, from the Mastrick area of the city, died following the incident on Provost Fraser Drive yesterday morning.

She had been driving a blue Vauxhall Corsa that was involved in a collision with a silver Vauxhall Astra at around 11.50am.

Road Policing Sergeant Rob Warnock said: “Our thoughts remain with Mrs Davidson’s family and friends.

“Inquiries into the collision remain ongoing and anyone with information who hasn’t yet spoken to officers should call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1132 of December 5.”
