POLICE have today named a biker who died in a crash with a car.
Francis George MacDonald, who was known as Frank, was from the Brechin area and had three children.
Frank, 44, passed away after his blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle was involved in a collision with a grey Toyota Hilux car.
The crash happened about 2pm on Saturday on the unclassified road between the B976 and the B974, near Cairn O’Mount.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Frank’s family are understandably upset by the sudden loss of their much loved son, brother and father-of-three and have said that he will be greatly missed.”
The road was closed for more than eight hours following the smash, and police have appealed for witnesses to contact them via 101.
