POLICE are looking to trace the occupants of a car in relation to an incident which involved a man and a woman speaking to a group of children in a North-east village.
The pair were travelling in a blue Volkswagen vehicle on the Provost Florence Drive area of Oldmeldrum between 2pm and 3pm on Sunday.
The children did not know the man or the woman.
Officers would like to speak to the pair, described as both being aged in their late teens to early twenties, in order to establish the full circumstances.
Sergeant Lorraine Mackie said: “We would like to speak to the occupants of the vehicle to satisfy ourselves that there was nothing untoward in the contact.
“There is nothing to suggest this at this time but we would nevertheless like to trace them to establish the full circumstances.
“If you were in the area at the time and have information we would be grateful if you could contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
