
A teenage cyclist has been left shaken, but unhurt, after a hit-and-run in Aberdeen.
A black saloon or estate-type car was involved in a collision with a teenager on a bike in the Bressay Brae area of the city at around 8am yesterday.
The motorist failed to stop and, while the cyclist was fortunately not hurt, they have been left shaken from the incident.
Pc Ewan Gault said: “We are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information to get in touch with us on 101 using reference number CF0108140518.
“The car involved is described as being black in colour and may have been a saloon or estate type car.
“We would also urge anyone who saw the car in the area around the time to contact us.”
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
