A MAN was today arrested following an alleged disturbance in Aberdeen.
Around seven police crews, including a dog handler, were called out to a block of flats on Balnagask Avenue about 4am today.
Officers cordoned off areas including Balnagask Avenue and Balnagask Circle for “people’s safety”.
Police said a man was arrested around 7am today.
Inspector Ian McKinnon of the West End Community Policing Team praised crews for making the Torry area safe.
He said: “There was no risk to anybody at any point during the incident.
“We used the appropriate resources to try to bring the incident to a conclusion safely.”
Police said a 22-year-old man is due to appear in court tomorrow.
