One man has died and another is in a serious condition in hospital after an incident in a North-east town.
Police say they are treating the death of the 32-year-old as unexplained and investigations are continuing. The incident is not believed to be suspicious.
He was found within a property in Stonehaven’s Dunnottar Avenue at around 10.30am today.
A second man, aged 35, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and he is believed to be in a serious condition.
Detective Inspector David Howieson said: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
“This would appear to be an isolated incident and I’d like to thank members of the public for their patience while inquiries are carried out.”
Police said a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
