A tree has fallen on to a car in Aberdeen this morning.
It was discovered just after 8am by two workers from Skyform, who are carrying out work in the Froghall Avenue area.
Glyn Stanley and his colleague Kevin Black called 101 after spotting the tree on arrival to work.
Glyn said: “It was already down when we got here.
“The owner is out, one of the brickies knows her so he tried to go and ring the door but she wasn’t in.”
Police have been notified of the incident, which happened on Froghall Avenue, at around 8.20am.
A police spokeswoman said: “A tree has been blown over onto the road and hit a car.”
Aberdeen City Council employees were called to the scene to remove the tree.
Police officers cited high winds as the cause of the fall, and were called to the scene.
