Police and paramedics were called after a car hit a pylon on a North-east road.
The Smart Forfour car was travelling on the A90 northbound and left the road just after the junction for the B974 at Marykirk at around 8.15am.
It is not yet known if anyone travelling in the car sustained injury.
No other vehicle was involved.
It is understood an engineer was called to survey the pylon for damage.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “The road has not been obstructed and remains fully open.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 8.15am today to attend a road traffic collision on the A90 at Laurencekirk.
“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene. No patients required transport to hospital.”
