A biker has been left with a broken ankle and ribs after a hit-and-run incident in the North-east.
It happened on Friday, June 24, on the A98 in the Mill of Tynet, near Buckie, at around 5.30pm.
Officers from Police Scotland wish to trace the owner of a red Audi after it left the scene following the collision with a 125cc Supermoto bike.
As a result of the incident a 50-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Dr Gray’s hospital in Elgin where he is receiving treatment for a broken ankle and broken ribs.
PC Tom Millican said: “I would appeal for anyone who was in the area around the time in question and saw anything that could help our investigation to contact police.
“In particular, if you recognise yourself as being the car owner involved, please get in touch so that we can establish exactly what happened.
“Anyone with information should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
