
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash that saw three people taken to hospital.
The incident happened on South Road in Peterhead and involved a silver Ford Galaxy and a grey Volkswagen Golf.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.35pm on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “As a result of the incident the Golf left the carriageway with significant damage and had to be retrieved using heavy lifting machinery.
“There were minor injuries to three people.”
They were taken to Peterhead Community Hospital to be checked over.
