Yobs have smashed up north-east public toilets, sparking a police appeal for help.
Staff from Aberdeenshire Council arrived at Port Elphinstone on the morning of October 30 and found intruders had smashed a pipe and some of the internal fixtures.
Since then, the toilets have been out of action, with a notice placed at the entrance.
It reads: “Toilet closed until further notice due to vandalism. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
The notice advised visitors the nearest set of available public toilets are in Inverurie.
