Yobs vandalised parking meters in a north-east town, sparking a police appeal.
Officers said the damage to the meters in Brechin will cost thousands of pounds to repair.
Vandals put a flame on the meters’ keypads and card slots causing scorch damage.
It happened at meters on City Road, Maisondieu Lane, Church Street and Market Street at some point between November 26 and Sunday.
A Police Scotland spokesman appealed for witnesses to call 101 and added: “These crimes will cost the public thousands of pounds, along with huge inconvenience.”
