POLICE and ambulance crews were called to an Aberdeen street today after a man was hit by a car.
Emergency services were called to Balnagask Wynd at around 3.45pm after reports a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
A man has been taken from the scene to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
It’s understood his injuries are not life threatening.
A police spokesman said their inquiries are at an early stage.
Witnesses have described seeing a number of police cars and ambulances around the street, with residents being escorted to their homes.
The street has been cordoned off by police while investigations are being carried out.
