Proposals to turn a former office into a personal training facility have been lodged with the local authority.

Taylor Design Services submitted the application to Aberdeenshire Council on behalf of Kevin Reid for the former office building on Market Street in Ellon.

If approved, it would see the change of use of office accommodation to be turned into a private personal training facility, complete with sport massage and therapy activities.

The plans detail an area on the second floor being dedicated to warm-up and stretching mats, an assessment and exercise area, as well as a space for treadmill and rowing machines.

There would also be two massage rooms and a reception and admin area.

Members of the public are welcome to make comments online until Sunday.

Aberdeenshire Council hopes to make a decision by May 3.
