Plans have been lodged to turn a former takeaway and hotel into a restaurant and flats.
The proposals were submitted for the Station Hotel in Hatton.
Permission is sought for a change of use from takeaway to restaurant and from hotel to residential housing.
Planning documents state: “The proposal is for a relatively small diner/restaurant to occupy the space previously utilised by the takeaway/storage areas.
“Given the physical constraints and the lack of viable alternatives the proposal is to convert the ground floor public rooms (ex-lounge bar and function/dining) to two self-contained flats while removing the stair to the lower ground floor allows the complete separation of the residential two-bed flat.”
