Plans have been lodged to demolish a workshop and build apartments close to a football stadium.
Proposals submitted to Aberdeen City Council seek permission to knock down an existing workshop building to the rear of Merkland Road East, close to Aberdeen FC’s Pittodrie Stadium.
And in its place it is proposed to build two semi-detached apartments.
Planning documents describe the site as on a “small lane of about 6m in width which runs to the south of, and parallel to, Merkland Road East”.
The plans add the building has until now been occupied by a lock-up garage/workshop.
