Councillors are being urged to approve plans to demolish part of a pub and build 29 student flats.
An application has been lodged to flatten the existing function suite at the Bridge of Dee bar on Holburn Street and build a four-storey accommodation block.
Planners have urged councillors on the city council’s planning committee to approve the application, subject to conditions.
In their report, they said the redevelopment is considered to be a “suitable use” and would make good use of a site located in close proximity to Robert Gordon University.
A total of 21 representations have been made, with 15 in support and six against.
