Plans to demolish a former hotel and build houses will take a step forward next week.
Proposals by Rocin Ltd were submitted to Aberdeenshire Council to flatten the Cammies restaurant building at Cammachmore, near Newtonhill, to build five homes.
In 2016, the Kincardine and Mearns area committee had approved the plans for six homes at the site.
However, in February last year, this was overturned by the Infrastructure Services Committee at Aberdeenshire Council as the land in question is within the green belt.
Cammies, which was a restaurant and hotel, was closed in 2015.
The new proposals have been recommended to be referred to the Infrastructure Services Committee for approval via a delegated grant.
