A new noodle bar is to open at Aberdeen’s Union Square.
Plans have been lodged to convert the current Baguette Express into a Chopstix restaurant and takeaway.
It comes after the oriental fast-food chain opened at the former Pizza Hut on Union Street last year.
Chopstix promises to use “authentic Asian recipes from China, Thailand, and Korea”.
Max Hilton Jenvey, chief operating officer of Chopstix, said: “We are so grateful to our loyal customers of Aberdeen and the support they’ve shown to Chopstix and it gives us immense pleasure to create more employment opportunities for the local community in addition to satisfying a wider group of customers.”
