Plans have been lodged to upgrade Aberdeen train station.
Proposals to alter and repair platform canopies at the city train station have been lodged with Aberdeen City Council.
Work if approved, will see steelwork added to canopies on seven platforms and iron gutters cleaned and relined.
A new fall prevention system is also proposed to be installed on the platforms for access to the canopies.
A planning statement for the application said: “The works will not adversely affect the listed building as they seek to closely replicate the existing canopy and seek to sustain and enhance the station.”
