Plans have now been lodged to create a Costa drive-thru in Bridge of Don.
Standard Life Investments Pooled Pension Property Fund has applied for a building warrant to develop the coffee facility at the city’s Bridge of Don Retail Park.
A total of £100,000 is being invested as part of the warrant application.
The Costa will occupy a 1,800 sq ft building within the retail park.
An M&S Simply Food, a CarpetRight, a Pets at Home and a Home Bargains are also set to open at the retail park next year as part of a major revamp.
