COVE Rangers are to move a step closer to finally building their own field of dreams at Nigg.
The plans for the Highland League side’s new stadium at Bobby Calder Park in Nigg, Aberdeen go up for public consultation on Monday.
The public meeting takes place at the Thistle Hotel Altens.
It will give residents in Cove their first chance to view the club’s ambitious plans to develop a 300-seater stadium and community facilities, which will include a 3G/4G all-weather surface.
The plans meet the SFA requirements for the licensing of a stadium.
Cove could not have met those had they stayed at their previous home, Allan Park, which is now the subject of a planning application from construction firm Barratts, who want to build 48 houses on the site.
The views of those who attend the public meeting will be considered before the formal planning application is put forward to Aberdeen City Council.
