FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to a flood-hit North-east village to evacuate residents.
One appliance was sent to assist in Ballater at around 8.45am.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We are evacuating residents in Ballater.
“We have got the forestry unit in use to help evacuate people.”
Ballater resident Gordon Smith sent in these pictures of Dee Bank Road.
Mr Smith said: “Everyone in my street has been evacuated.”
Anderson Road, Dee Bank Road and Albert Road have been evacuated so far.

Residents have also been evacuating from Braemar.
The area’s mountain rescue time has been deployed to help.
