A new pets fair is to be launched next month for animal lovers.
The North East Pet Expo, an exhibition featuring all types of animals, will kick off on March 17 in Inverurie and is expected to be a sell-out.
Those visiting the fair at the Thainstone Centre will find various stalls where they can buy accessories for their companions or seek advice from professionals.
A showcase arena will also exhibit canine displays and a pets fashion show. Meanwhile, animal enthusiast The Critter Keeper will also showcase some of his unique spiders, snakes, frogs and giant snails.
Event organiser Sal Barton said tickets were selling fast.
She said: “This is something unique, that the North-east has never seen before.”
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to two charities – Until Every Dog Has A Home and the Royal Northern Countryside Initiative (RNCI).
Rob Clunas, project manager at RNCI, said: “Hopefully this will help us educate more kids in the local area.”
The event will run from 11am until 4pm.
