A woman in her 20s was taken to hospital after being struck by a van in Aberdeen.
Police received a call at 7.45pm yesterday after reports that a person had been hit by a vehicle on Berryden Road in Aberdeen.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A pedestrian was hit by a van and taken to hospital as a precaution.”
A spokesman added a the female pedestrian had been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a minor head injury as a result of the incident.
The southbound carriageway was closed for a time and traffic was diverted.
