A management graduate used his part-time job to inspire part of his academic work.
Alastair Norton, from Cults, has collected his management studies masters degree and while studying he focused on the economy of freelance work.
The 23-year-old said: “I worked for Deliveroo in the summer and part-time while I was at university.
“I thought it was such a different company compared to the other ones I worked for, that I wanted to expand on that.
“So I looked into the challenges they face and whether it’s the future of employment.”
Alastair has already secured a job with Ducatus Partners, an executive recruitment company which headhunts for the oil and gas industry.
He said: “Two weeks after I graduated I got the job as an associate.
“I feel I’ve definitely been thrown in at the deep end in some areas, but I feel that’s the best way of being able to make a meaningful contribution to the projects the company had going.”
