A man has died after falling ill on an Aberdeen road.
The 66-year-old was on Stoneywood Road, Stoneywood, on Monday evening when he fell ill.
A passer-by dialled 999 and police and paramedics attended the scene, which was cordoned off until around 12pm.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We can confirm officers were called to a report of a sudden death of a 66-year old-man at an area near to Stoneywood Road in Aberdeen on Monday at 10.15pm.
“There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
“As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
