A parking ban is to be put in place on an Aberdeen road for Scottish Water works.
School Road in Seaton will be subject to a temporary prohibition of waiting on the south side of the road between its junction with School Terrace and the west boundary of 66-72 School Road from 6pm next Saturday until 5pm next Sunday.
The measure will be put in place in to protect public safety.
Next Sunday from 8am until 5pm, there will also be a ban on vehicles making left turn manoeuvres from Seaton Road on to School Road.
The local authority has also advised that any cars illegally parked in the area at the time of the prohibition of waiting order will be removed by the council at the owner’s expense.
Fraser Bell, head of legal and democratic services at Aberdeen City Council, said: “These measures are necessary to protect public safety during Scottish Water ironworks repairs.
“An alternative route is available via School Road, westbound, Seaton Roundabout and School Road, eastbound.”
