A PIECE of disused land in Aberdeen could be transformed into an outdoor adventure park – including tunnels and a zip slide.
Adventure Aberdeen is in the process of designing the facility on land opposite its existing base at Kingswells.
Fairley Road Adventure Park will feature a range of activities including a zip slide, adventure course, woodland walk, meeting area, tunnels and climbing logs.
There will also be a multi-sports area.
Owned by Aberdeen City Council, the project is expected to cost in the region of £330,000.
Councillors are being asked to allow Adventure Aberdeen to carry out the final stages of the project.
A report will be presented to the education and children’s services committee on Tuesday.
