Traffic restrictions will be put in place on part of a busy route while work by a telecommunications giant is carried out.
The B999 Tarves road will have a one-way system in place later this month for work on superfast broadband.
The one-way operation will be between Denmore Road and the A90 Ellon road with drivers only able to travel westbound.
Fraser Bell, head of legal and democratic services at Aberdeen City Council, said: “The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by BT Openreach.
“An alternative route for eastbound vehicles is available via Denmore Road, the A90 Parkway and the A90 Ellon Road.”
