An offshore worker has been evacuated from an oil platform.
A call was made to the coastguard at 10.50pm yesterday, reporting a man in his 60s on an offshore platform was in need of a medical evacuation.

A team from Aberdeen Coastguard was sent to clear the helipad at ARI in preparation for the helicopter arriving.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 1.09am to assist the coastguard transfer a patient.
“One ambulance was dispatched and a male patient in their 60s was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for further treatment.”
It is not known what platform the worker was on at the time.
