An Aberdeen art festival has won a top accolade at a tourism awards ceremony.
Nuart was named Best Cultural Event/Festival at the Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism awards on Friday.
Adrian Watson, chief executive of city centre improvement group Aberdeen Inspired, said the festival had “truly won the hearts” of residents.

He said: “We are absolutely delighted to win the Best Cultural Event/Festival for Nuart Aberdeen and would like to extend our congratulations to all the finalists.
“As a relative newcomer to the city the impact of Nuart Aberdeen on residents and visitors to the north-east has been both staggering and humbling. Nuart Aberdeen has truly won the hearts and minds of the people it has been gifted to, which is a true lasting legacy.”
