Organisers of a street art festival have launched a search for sites which can be used for next year’s murals.
Aberdeen Inspired has launched its “call for walls” search ahead of the Nuart festival next year, which will feature more “gritty” artwork.
In April this year artists from across the globe and at home headed to the Granite City to help transform surfaces around the streets into modern street art.
Adrian Watson, chief executive of Aberdeen Inspired, said: “We are delighted that the festival will be coming back and the festival team has started work to identify prospective new walls in the city centre for street artists to use next year.
“Already we have noted interest from city centre businesses.
“However, we want to maximise this opportunity to shape Nuart Aberdeen 2018.”
Walls must be in a good condition for painting. Interested parties should call 01224 566 291 or e-mail callforwalls@aberdeen inspired.com
