A WELL-KNOWN outdoor clothing firm is set to open its first store in Aberdeen.
The North Face will move into Union Square in the unit previously occupied by The Perfume Shop.
General manager of Union Square Ryan Manson said: “The arrival of The North Face here at Union Square is an exciting addition to the centre and a first for the North-east.”
The North Face clothing lines are sold in a range of stores, but this will be their first dedicated shop in Aberdeen.
They also have one on Buchanan Street in Glasgow.
The outlet specialise in outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment and sell apparatus for hiking, mountaineering, skiing and snowboarding.
The North Face was founded in 1966 as a small ski and backpacking shop operating in San Francisco but has expanded across the world.
