A north-east tradesman is “devastated” after thieves ransacked his work van and stole his tools.
Landscaper Jordan Law, 31, of Inverurie, got up for work on Monday morning and discovered criminals had prised their way into his blue van in the Victoria Street car park in the town.
The thieves stole tools worth more than £3,000 – putting his livelihood at risk.
His partner of 10 years, Ashley Peterkin, said: “He was absolutely devastated to find his tools gone.
“Jordan loves his work and is very popular with his customers.
“He is booked out until Christmas and hates to let people down.
“Sadly the tools weren’t insured so he has to buy new ones, spending the money he has been saving to buy a new van.”
