A celebration of all the North-east’s emergency services will be staged this weekend.
The Blue Light Festival returns to Fraserburgh on Sunday with a host of activities for families to enjoy – including lifesaving demonstrations.
Doug Ewen, one of the organisers, said: “The programme includes several displays in the arena and a wide variety of stalls within the hall.
“The festival is designed as a free family fun day out where people can meet the local emergency services and get an insight into what they do on a daily basis.”
The Blue Light Festival brings together all of the 999 services, including the Coastguard and local community first responders, at Fraserburgh Leisure Centre.
Proceedings will begin at 12.30pm with a parade of emergency vehicles.
